ScriptKit is an AI-powered video production platform that transforms your video scripts into production-ready images and videos. Upload your script, describe the visuals you want, and AI generates them for you.
ScriptKit supports:
  • SRT - SubRip subtitle files (recommended)
  • VTT - WebVTT subtitle files
  • TXT - Plain text files
SRT files work best because they include timing information.
We use state-of-the-art AI models including:
  • Custom image generation models optimized for video production
  • Google Gemini Veo for video generation
  • Claude and GPT for natural language understanding
The specific model used depends on the task and your plan.
ScriptKit is optimized for desktop browsers. While the app is accessible on mobile devices, we recommend using a computer for the best experience, especially when using the video editor.

Generation

  • Images: 10-30 seconds for 3 variations
  • Videos: 1-3 minutes for a 5-second clip
  • Bulk generation: Depends on number of clips
Generation time can vary based on server load and complexity.
Try these tips for better results:
  1. Be more specific about style, lighting, and composition
  2. Avoid ambiguous terms
  3. Add quality modifiers like “4K”, “cinematic”, “professional”
  4. Use reference images for style consistency
  5. Break complex scenes into simpler descriptions
Yes! You can:
  • Remix: Modify an image with new instructions
  • Inpaint: Edit specific areas of an image
  • Upscale: Increase resolution
  • Regenerate: Get new variations with the same prompt
For visual consistency:
  1. Set a default prompt with style instructions
  2. Use reference images from your Vault
  3. Generate in batches with the same settings
  4. Use the “Use as Reference” feature on successful generations
  • 16:9 - Widescreen (YouTube, presentations)
  • 9:16 - Vertical (TikTok, Reels, Stories)
  • 1:1 - Square (Instagram posts)
  • 4:5 - Portrait (Instagram feed)

Video Editor

The Video Editor is available on Professional and Studio plans. Starter plan users can upgrade to access this feature.
  • 720p (HD) - 5 credits
  • 1080p (Full HD) - 10 credits
  • 4K (Ultra HD) - 25 credits
Higher resolutions take longer to render.
Yes, you can upload your own audio files and add them to the audio track. Make sure you have the rights to use any music you upload.
There’s no hard limit on video length, but:
  • Longer videos use more storage
  • Render time increases with length
  • We recommend keeping videos under 10 minutes for optimal performance
Exported videos are stored in our cloud. They count toward your storage limit and can be downloaded anytime from your project page.

Billing & Credits

Credits are the currency for AI operations. Different tasks cost different amounts:
  • Images: 1-4 credits
  • Videos: 50-80 credits
  • Exports: 5-25 credits (based on resolution)
Monthly credits refresh on your billing date. Top-up credits never expire.
Monthly subscription credits do not roll over. However, credits purchased via top-up never expire.
You can:
  1. Purchase a top-up package
  2. Upgrade to a higher plan
  3. Wait for your monthly refresh
Without credits, you can still view and organize existing assets, but cannot generate new ones.
We offer refunds within 7 days of your first subscription if you’re not satisfied. Contact [email protected].
Go to Settings > Billing and click Cancel Subscription. You’ll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Account & Data

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click “Forgot Password”
  3. Enter your email
  4. Check your inbox for the reset link
  5. Create a new password
Yes, go to Settings > Account and update your email. You’ll need to verify the new address.
You can download your assets anytime:
  • Individual assets: Click and select Download
  • Collections: Use Export Collection
  • All data: Contact support for a full data export
Your data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation. During this time, you can:
  • Resubscribe and regain full access
  • Download your assets
After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
Yes. We use:
  • Encrypted data storage
  • Secure authentication (Google OAuth supported)
  • Regular security audits
  • GDPR-compliant data handling

Troubleshooting

If a generation fails:
  1. Wait a moment and try again
  2. Simplify your prompt
  3. Check your credit balance
  4. Check the status page for outages
  5. Contact support if the issue persists
Try these fixes:
  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Use Chrome or Edge for best performance
  4. Close other browser tabs
  5. Check your internet connection
Verify that:
  • File is SRT, VTT, or TXT format
  • File size is under 10 MB
  • File is not corrupted (try opening in a text editor)
Video rendering can take several minutes. If it seems stuck:
  1. Check the progress percentage
  2. Refresh the page (progress is saved)
  3. Wait up to 10 minutes for complex videos
  4. Contact support if it exceeds 10 minutes
